In 2020, all schools were required to revise their Admission Policies in line with the requirements of the Education (Admissions to Schools) Act 2018, as well as the Education Act 1998 and the Equal Status Act 2000.
In conjunction with our Patron's Office, St. Lachtain's NS ratified a new Admissions Policy which took effect from October 1st 2020.
Our Annual Admission Notice and relevant timetable is available below. The process opens on Monday 15th January 2024.

Applying for School Transport from buseireann.ie
Applications for Primary or Post Primary School Transport Schemes must be made online. The closing date for applications is the last Friday in April for the forthcoming School Year.
Please note that only new pupils need apply, for example pupils starting Primary school or moving to Post Primary School, or those who are changing home address or school.
Details of all existing pupils who currently hold tickets are already recorded and the email address provided in the registration process previously is used to communicate with families each summer when it is time to pay the school transport charges for the forthcoming school year.
