Junior Infants
October/November Newsletter
We in Junior Infants are settling into life in ‘big school’ very well. We are very busy and are doing lots of work. We love learning the letter sounds, learning new Irish words and songs, singing, learning how to write letters and numbers and lots more! We have 13 boys in our room and 15 girls. We love getting homework. We look forward to Fridays especially to see who have won the prizes. Kilkenny day was brilliant fun in our class; we loved showing Annette the best colours in the world!! The Black and Amber!

Junior Infants
March 2020
We have been very busy in Junior Infants since Christmas. We love learning our ‘Tricky Words’. The Science Fair was great fun. We made a rope bridge from wool and lollipop sticks. Our Aistear theme for February was the Vet on the farm, so during science we made butter from cream. We even tasted the butter on crackers afterwards. It was yummy. We loved World book Day and we brought in our favourite books and teddies and showed them to the older classes. As part of our oral language, we have started Show and Tell. It is great fun standing up in front of our class and telling them about our special thing. For the past couple of weeks in PE, Ms Harrison has taught us gymnastics. It is great fun doing different rolls on the big mats. We are very good at the pencil roll and the egg roll.
