October/November Newsletter
Rang 2 and 3 have had a busy and exciting first term back. Everyone has settled back into the school routine very well and they were so happy to be back in school in September! Everyone was delighted to see their friends again some of which they hadn’t seen for a long time.
Our class has been really enjoying PE and Art especially. We have enjoyed the good weather so far and getting to do PE outside. This class has been very creative in their art work doing different drawings, painting and Autumn Art.
We have been enjoying lots of reading too and our class has been enjoying writing our own stories and sharing with the class.
We had great fun dressing up on the Friday of the Halloween break. We paraded down the school yard and everyone was laughing and very happy.

We have recently had our First Confession and we feel a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders. We have promised to be like Jesus and follow in his ways. We are now looking forward to preparing for our First Communion. Last month we enjoyed doing our STEM projects for Engineers Week. We made catapults using only lollipop sticks and rubber bands. We also saw lots of really interesting experiments at the Science Fair. This month we are celebrating our patron saint, St. Patrick. We are also doing lots of things “as Gaeilge” as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. We are learning some Irish dancing and are looking forward to doing a jig at our céilí. To mark St. Patrick’s week we are also dressing up in green to have a “Lá Glas”. Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh go léir!
